My goal is to provide over the counter drug information and expertise in a format that is easy to understand.

Navigating the aisles of the pharmacy can be intimidating. The shelves are packed from top to bottom with hundreds
of different products, many of the chemical names (active ingredients) on packaging are hard to pronounce, and getting an
actual pharmacist or technician to help out can be a challenge. Online resources aren't much better. Websites covering
over the counter drugs often contain way more information than the average person can digest and are filled with
medical jargon that is hard to understand.
I created OTC Meds to fill in some of the knowledge gaps and make researching over the counter
drug products easy. In pharmacy school I was taught to always try and use
'patient friendly terms'. It is a mantra that has stuck with me and for good reason. Most people don't have a medical
background, so communicating using language that everyone can understand is important. I hope you find the articles on OTC Meds
easy to follow, but also thorough and informative. If nothing else, I hope OTC Meds makes it easy to quickly find the
information you are looking for.
